@ WU Vienna, by EGOS - European Group for Organizational Studies
An Ikebana performance by the artist Yuli Liang took place at the EGOS General Assembly. Ikebana is a meditative Zen art of flower arrangements, which underlines the beauty of imperfection. It is the appreciation of the impermanent and incomplete, it renders acceptance and compassion, while it leaves space for contemplation, imagination and creativity.
The performance was divided into two stages. In the first stage, some very beautiful flowers were selected and a gorgeous arrangement was made. It is sense of abundance, richness and joy. Then came the second stage:
But what if everything is taken away, destroyed or abandoned?
Would you still be able to celebrate when there is very little left?
