Back to 2010, in Bonn, Germany.
I was staying at a beautiful house of 150 years' of history with a winter house and garden, plus a vegetable garden along the river Rhine.
The owners of the house are a diplomatic couple. The wife makes flower arrangements every day, displayed in the hall way, by the window and on the table, from fresh flowers and branches from the garden. I find her style unique. She told me that she learned Ikebana, a Japanese style of flower arrangement, while she was an expat living in Japan.
From there my passion for Ikebana grows.
